Weekly Guided Practica - AOD Wednesday, February 25, 2026
These practicas are designed as structured practice sessions, not social dances. Each week is supported by an instructor who helps guide the room while keeping the focus on intentional, student-led work. The goal is to create a focused environment where dancers can apply concepts, refine technique, and build consistency without the pressure or distraction of a social setting. Rather than a formal lesson, the session follows clear guidelines that encourage purposeful repetition and exploration. Dancers can work on footwork, solo styling, partnerwork, and core foundations at their own pace, using the time to revisit material discussed in class or to strengthen specific areas of their dancing. Instructors are present throughout the session to offer support, answer questions, and provide clarification when needed. This allows dancers to receive informed feedback in real time while maintaining control over how they use the practice space. It is collaborative, grounded, and focused on skill development. Practicas are open to anyone in the Windsor dance community who is looking for a dedicated space to practice with intention. This includes dancers of all levels who value improvement, structure, and shared respect for the learning process. Non members, as well as friends and family, are welcome to attend for a fee of $10 per person.
